Meeting Accreditation

Educational programs accredited by the Canadian Academy of Clinical Biochemistry (CACB) can be claimed as Category 1 credit hours.  Accredited programs give 1 credit for each hour of education.  For example, a 3-hour symposium with a half-hour refreshment break would receive 2.5 Category 1 credit hours.

There are a number of steps that must be completed in order to have the education program accredited.  The completions of the steps are your proof that the program will provide your participants with a true learning experience.

Application for accreditation is now online.

Click the button below to learn more about and begin the application process. You may click the “Save Progress for Later” button once you start the application process and return at a later time and a URL will be generated for you to email to speakers, to submit their information into your application. A Word version of the application is provided as a guide to assist the applicant with gathering information.
