CSCC Working Group on Quality Management (QM)
Overview
The CSCC Working Group on Quality Management (QM) is a group of CSCC members interested in advancing knowledge of quality management among CSCC membership and assisting with development of educational activities to address knowledge gaps in quality management.
Purpose
- Promote leadership in quality management in the laboratory, with a focus on patient safety
- Identify key competencies in quality leadership and management for Clinical Chemists
- Develop educational activities to address gaps in quality management knowledge
- Promote / develop tools for use by laboratories to reduce errors in the laboratory
- Recommend / develop strategies to improve quality in laboratory performance and patient safety
