Welcome to the online application process to have your education programs and meeting accredited by the Canadian Academy of Clinical Biochemistry (CACB) as a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) event.

Educational programs accredited by the Canadian Academy of Clinical Biochemistry (CACB) can be claimed as Category 1 credit hours.  Accredited programs give 1 credit for each hour of education.

There are a number of steps that must be completed in order to have the education program accredited.  The completions of the steps are your proof that the program will provide your participants with a true learning experience.

The completed application form and supporting documentation must be submitted to CSCC Head Office at least 1 month prior to the start date of the event.

Applications received less than one month before the event start date are not guaranteed to be processed for credits.

Once the accreditation has been approved by the MOC committee, the following statement should be added to all promotional material related to the event:

“This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity as defined by the CSCC/CACB Professional Development Program.”
