Halifax – we’ll see you there

Dust off your dancing shoes, we are only weeks away from Halifax!

Across the country, posters are printing, presenters are practising, and travel preparations are being polished as we lead up to gathering in Halifax in May.  If you’ve not yet had the opportunity to register, there is still time!

A few reminders! Have a look at the November Newsletter https://cscc-sccc.ca/newsletters/November-2025/ for travel tips and things to do in “Canada’s Ocean Playground”.  It’s been a cool spring so far so please remember this will not be Victoria coastal (with early tulips), but North Atlantic coastal.  Don’t forget that options to get downtown from the Halifax airport are rideshare, taxi/limo, or car rental (recommend booking ahead!).

Continue to check the conference website for updates and the conference app as well. There are new industry workshops and details being added to help you plan your attendance at the great lineup of workshops that CSCC members and our industry partners have curated.

I also wanted to specifically take this opportunity to highlight our sponsors for this year’s meeting.  Their ongoing support and participation in our meetings are incredibly valuable to us.  In fact, I’m issuing a call and a challenge to CSCC Members this year:

• Do take the time to visit the exhibits, to connect with the vendors/sponsors, and to express appreciation for their support.
• As your schedule allows, do take advantage of the excellent industry workshops that are running on Monday at 2pm and 4pm.
• Engage with the vendor posts on social media to amplify our appreciation.
