High Sensitivity Troponin Testing: Decentralized, Dependable and No Compromise in Quality
Wednesday January 25, 2023 • 2 pm EST
Sponsored by
High-sensitivity cardiac troponin (hs‐cTn) assays are able to increase diagnostic accuracy and reduce time to diagnosis, while hs‐cTn assays have been available for central laboratory-based systems for many years the first hs‐cTn assays are now available on a small platform. This webinar will address the performance of such a test in patients with suspected ACS and show the accuracy of the assay in clinical setting.
Learning objectives:
After participating in this session attendees will be able to:
1.Explain the principle clinical benefits of having a high-sensitivity (hs)‐TnI assay and the flexibility of a decentralized measurement with laboratory performance.
2.Compare and contrast the validation processes for hs-TnI assays.
3.Explain how to meet the challenges associated with use of algorithms in both hospital and decentralized options.
Speakers:
Dr. Jasper Beoddinghaus MD BHF/University Centre for Cardiovascular Science |
Dr. Rob Christenson, Ph.D Professor of Pathology |
There is no charge to attend this lecture but it is necessary to register.
