Over the years, I have had the opportunity to share the numerous stories and accomplishments of our CSCC colleagues. One of the most rewarding aspects of this position has been helping to keep our members informed and connected, particularly during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, when maintaining a sense of community was more important than ever.

I am especially proud of the newsletter’s evolution from a traditional print publication to a fully online format. This transition allowed us to broaden our reach, deliver content more efficiently, and create new opportunities for engagement with our members. While the format has changed, the newsletter’s core purpose has remained the same: to inform, connect, and celebrate the achievements of our clinical biochemistry community.

Looking back, I am grateful to everyone who has contributed articles. The newsletter’s success has depended on the willingness of our members to contribute their voices and perspectives. I always look forward to photos from our Annual CSCC conference as it exemplifies the connectivity within our community. Thank you to everyone who has contributed articles, announcements, and photographs.

I am so thankful for the help provided by the CSCC Head Office. Elizabeth Hooper and Valerie Olteanu worked behind the scenes to ensure each newsletter was full of content and published on time. They both played an important role in supporting the CSCC Editorial Board.

Thank you to our Associate Editors, Dr. Joanna Jung and Dr. Cate Omosule. They dedicated their time to write and edit articles for each newsletter. Thank you for the feedback, support, and ideas to keep the CSCC Newsletter relevant and engaging for our community.

As I step aside, I do so with excitement and optimism for the future of the CSCC Newsletter. New leadership brings fresh ideas, new perspectives, and opportunities for continued growth. I look forward to seeing how the newsletter evolves in the years ahead.

I encourage all CSCC members to continue sharing their stories, accomplishments, innovations, and insights. Your contributions are what make this publication meaningful and relevant to our community. Whether you are highlighting a new initiative, reflecting on your professional journey, or celebrating the achievements of colleagues, we would love to highlight it in the CSCC Newsletter.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve as your Editor-in-Chief. I look forward to remaining an engaged reader and supporter of the CSCC Newsletter as this next chapter begins.

With gratitude,

Dorothy Truong
Outgoing Editor-in-Chief, CSCC Newsletter

Submitted by Dr. Joanna Jung

Over the past few years, I have had the opportunity to help share many stories, achievements, and milestones of CSCC members.
